Entry Light



Dan, with my help, installed the entry light. It still needs to be hooked up to the correct wires and the extra chain links need to be removed.

Feels Good

This pellet stove can be turned on with just pushing a button.

A 40 pound bag of pellets was put into the stove.

Jeff is installing the first pipe for the pellet stove. He used 3 cans of black spray paint and ran out, so our stove has character!

Protection


The concrete is being protected by heavy duty paper. Cabinets are due tomorrow!

Mopping and Mopping and Mopping





Water was applied to the floor and then the brush was used to get off excess chemicals. After they mopped they used a squeegee and last a vacuum to get up all of the water.

Buffing and Spraying




While Donna did the buffing, Russ did the sweeping and vacuuming. Next came the spraying. They used a combination of Padre Brown and Antique Walnut.

Preparing the Concrete



The first step in the staining process is to prepare the concrete. Donna Lopez is taping the walls to protect the paint and her son, Russ, is mopping the floors using a muriatic acid, which opens the pores of the concrete.

Zac Came to Visit



We had a great visit with Zac today. He drove down to return some of Dan's tools. We put him to work helping us clean up the floor protection in the house. We are getting ready for the next step, which is the staining of the concrete.

Puzzles and Towers



Noah spent quite a bit of time putting jigsaw puzzles together and building towers.
