The groom and his groomsmen met at our house to dress for the wedding.

Poppies

The rehearsal dinner was held at Poppies, a delightful little restaurant on Colorado Blvd. Zac and Jen are enjoying the company of Stephanie's Aunt Carina, who was in charge of all of the flowers at the wedding.

Family

We were so happy that Carl brought Grandma Heismann and that Aunt Mary and Grandma Dee came for this special occasion.

This view is taken from the driveway where the motor home is parked. The three plants that you see are called hydrangea, oak leaf.

Milepost

We used the 57th Edition of this Alaska magazine on our trip this summer. It included food, gas, lodging, camping, fishing, sightseeing and road conditions along the highways and byways of Alaska, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories and major access routes in Alberta and British Columbia. It was most helpful.

Bumps

These signs in Alaska are warning signs for bumps or frost heaves in the highway. We learned that if there are black tire tracks on the pavement just beyond these signs, that we really needed to slow down.
