Theron

Cleaning up after a long day at work. This is Theron, who helped Dan move the refrigerator into the house.

Refrigerator

Dan and Theron (one of the carpenters) had to remove the garage door in order to get the refrigerator into the house.

Trim

Three trim carpenters measured, cut, and installed the trim work. We are very pleased with their quality workmanship. Their professionalism truly impressed us.

Tools

The trim guys walked many miles back and forth to the garage and their tools and wood .

Casing

The door, with the casing installed, is the coat closet in the Great Room.

Windowsills

The trim guys came today to install the trim and windowsills.

Plumbing

This plumbing is under the kitchen sink. The final plumbing inspection was today and we PASSED!

The pendants hang over the kitchen island.

Ed and Dan installed the light for the Utility Room.

Yea! We have toilets that are in working order! No more trips to the Blue Building. We chose comfort height toilets.

Garage lights

Today Ed and Dan spent time installing lights in the garage. "Let there be light!" They also put up lights in the utility room and laundry room.

Doors

The front door had to be removed so that the large doors for the closets could be brought into the house. We love these doors, they have so much character.

Wood to be painted

The knotty alder wood was delivered on Friday. We are giving it a couple of coats of polyurethane before it will be installed by the trim guy, who will come on the 14th. The door jams and the doors also need to be painted.

Painting

The painting has begun! Look who is sitting down on the job.

Garage Door Opener

We finally received the opener for the garage door. Took me a day to install it. One of the nicer features is the motion sensing on the wall mounted opener. This turns on the garage door opener's lights when you walk into the garage.

Master Vanity

Oops, I forgot to include a picture of the vanity in the master bathroom.

Master Bath Shower

We also had the guys from Royale Marble, Florence, Colorado, here today to install the gorgeous cultured marble walls and base. In a couple of weeks we'll have a clear glass door. Can't wait to take my first shower in the house.

Counter Tops

Today the guys from International Stoneworks came to install our granite counter tops. They are really beautiful.

Entry Light

Dan, with my help, installed the entry light. It still needs to be hooked up to the correct wires and the extra chain links need to be removed.
