Sign Forest

The World Famous Sign Post Forest is in Watson Lake. It was started in 1942 by a homesick U.S. Army G.I. who was working on the Alaska Highway. He erected a sign pointing the way and stating the mileage to his hometown. This lead to others doing the same and now there are over 60,000
