Fixing the Drywall

Tri City Drywall returned to fix several spots in the drywall caused by the trim installation.

Storage is empty

After 5 trips to the storage using the Ford and the Rav, we cleared out the storage and turned in the key. Now all of the contents are throughout the house and we still have boxes and more boxes to move from the shop. But, it is great finally being in the house.

Final Inspection

We passed the final inspection on Monday. Two things need to happen and then we'll receive the final report. One, the roofer needs to return and put silicone on all of the exposed nails. Two, when the tongue and groove patio ceilings are installed, vents need to be included. Pictures of the vents and the silicon on the nails will then be emailed to the inspector and he'll process our paper work for the final report.

Washer

Dan moved the washer from storage today. No more trips to the laundromat for this Laundry Queen.

Sealing the Crack

After using the vacuum, Dan sealed the crack to make sure we have a "tight" house and no dirt can blow in.

Dan finished installing the shelves in my closet. All set to move in the clothes.

Cedar Wood

Painting the tongue and groove for the patio ceilings has begun. Rolling on the paint is making this process go faster than painting the trim using a brush.

Dan's been working on installing the Murphy Bed. Soon we will be ready for company!

Zigzag

The dryer vent has a zigzag due to the truss in the ceiling.

Keyboard

Dan has missed his keyboard this last year. I've missed hearing him play. It is in the Great Room on the same wall as the Pellet Stove.
