Apples Apples Apples

Apples, Apples, Apples

Our drive today showed us why the state of Washington is known for its apples. Everywhere we looked were orchards, orchards, orchards. Not only apples, but peaches, pears and a lot of vineyards were seen on the way from Twisp to Pasco. The road followed the Columbia River or one of its tributaries just about the whole way. All of the agriculture wouldn’t have been possible without the water from the many dams on the rivers.
